TEACHING
At City University of Hong Kong, I have taught Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Legal Methods, Research and Writing, Criminology, and Evidence for both LLB and JD students. I have also taught elective courses on Human Rights, Legal Ethics, and Business Law in the UK and in Australia, and have delivered guest lectures at universities in Australia and Indonesia. My approach to teaching law subjects emphasises discovery-based learning, current events, and the socio-political context in which law operates. Over the past ten years, my City University LLB and JD students have gone on to work as barristers, solicitors, District and Legislative Councillors, civil servants, entrepreneurs, lecturers, airline pilots, investment bankers, and financial analysts, just to name a few professional endeavours!
Below are my current syllabi.
