During March 2026 I hosted two online seminars organised under the auspices of the Public Law and Human Rights Forum (CPLR), a research centre at CityUHK's School of Law. On 25 March the first seminar, with five guest speakers, discussed human rights issues with the New Indonesian Criminal Code, which came into force in January 2026 following many years of debate.

The second seminar, on 26 March, was an 'author meets reader' session discussing Chan, Sato and Hor's new volume Capital Drug Laws in Asia (CUP 2025), for which I have contributed a chapter. The reviewer for the book was my frequent academic collaborator Associate Professor Andrew Novak from George Mason University.
